Sort Dialog Box Properties
You can use the Sort dialog box to specify the settings to sort the records or groups in a banded object. This topic describes the properties in the dialog box.
Sort in Scope
Specify to sort the banded object or a group.
Remove button
Select to delete a field.
Field
Select a field by which you want to sort the banded object or a group.
Ascend
Select to sort the field values in ascending order.
Descend
Select to sort the field values in descending order.
Move Up button
Select to move a field higher.
Move Down button
Select to move a field lower.
Add button
Select to add a new line after the current one. You see this button after you select a field for the first line, and when you have selected banded object for the Sort in Scope property.
OK
Select to apply any changes you made here and exit the dialog box.
Cancel
Select to close the dialog box without saving any changes.
Apply
Select to apply any changes you made here without exiting the dialog box.
Reset
Select to restore this dialog box to its opening status.

Select to view information about the dialog box.
